Acer Empowering Tech
Need advice on the purchase of a new office and the prices of games?
Hi guys. I saw an Acer Aspire M5711-483X and costs around 678.75USD (I converted my country Convert USD.) And the information system is: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2.5 GHz, 4 MB Cache 1333 MHz FSB) Windows Vista Home Premium NVIDIA nForce 720i chipset (I wonder what is this?) 3 GB DDR2 RAM / 320 GB SATA2 HDD DVD Super MultiPlus Writer with Labelflash Disc T @ 2 & Tech) NVIDIA GT120 Figure 1 Go D-Sub / DVI / HDMI Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps 40 in 1 card reader, keyboard and mouse Acer wireless high-definition 7.1 channel audio (This is related to speaker? Is this good?) Acer Empowering Technology (what?) I'm not really aware of the computer, this computer is worth the price? Might use it for games and do some flash animation or games (learning) or studies. Comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
The Core 2 Quad Q8300 is a quad-core lower clock speeds and a small reduction in the size of the cache. Should be sufficient for your needs, but for the price would have been better go with a Phenom X4 II 940 Dual-Core E8500 o These processors cost the same as the Q8300, but the performance is much better. Although the E8500 will be left behind in applications they are able to take advantage of additional cores in the Q8300 will be much faster for the rest. In my opinion, the Phenom X4 II 940 is by far the best price at $ 190. The GTS120 is the new name for the 9500GT, a low-end discrete graphics card. But this may be sufficient for your needs. It depends on what games you have intend to play and the decision to play. The map should be able to handle any game out there, but you need some compromises on video quality settings to produce framerates play, even at relatively low resolutions. I think the 9800GT, which is two or three steps above the 9500GT, to be "entry interval" of a platform game. As for the binary systems from companies like Dell, Acer, etc go, this is not bad for a team prices. Obviously, get a better deal if you can build. And I'm sure you can find a better deal on newegg.com. In fact, just checked and it is a system with a iBuypower 9800GT, 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, Q8300 CPU to $ 680 at newegg.com. If you can walk a bit before buying.
